Sales Engineer - Philippines


Description :

Execution

• Execute sales strategies, sales plans and sales support activities plans in his assigned territory/segment/customer group. Deliver on sales targets, margin and incentive targets, customer visit plan, customer communication and events plan.

• Communicate and coordinate with operations, business development, market communication and technical advisor as required

• Drive sales of services and service products such as fleet and maintenance agreements and OPAC as well as end user decisions to specify ABB t/cs for their new building projects to capture full market potential

• Build long term relationships with assigned customers at all levels, explore new business opportunities and generate new installed base, or market share by influencing through key decision processes

Business Development

Qualifications:

·         Degree holder in Electrical Engineering

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales of turnkey Substations and associated substation equipment.

·         Existing Network in various Power Transmission & Distribution Utilities is a Must.

·         Technically sound and able to communicate at all levels.

·         Must have excellent negotiation and presentation skills

Main Accountabilities


1.     Procurement

-          Suppliers selection

-          Issuance of RFQ / RFP to prospective suppliers based on PR requirements

-          Consolidation of quotations / negotiation with suppliers based on given budget & specifications.

-          Finalize canvass sheet & secure approval based on TOA

-          Create PO & secure approval in SAP

-          Issuance of PO to winning supplier

-          Approval of supplier’s OA by SRP/PRP

-          Approval of supplier’s design drawings by SRP/PRP

2.     Logistics

-          Send final shipping instructions to supplier / forwarder for indent order

-          Arrange customs clearing & delivery upon arrival of cargo at port of destination

-          Arrange delivery to designated point of destination for local & indent order

-          Consolidation of shipping docs. & transmittal to PRP/customer/customs broker

-          Transmittal of invoices to accounting

3.     Accreditation of Suppliers

-           Consolidation of accreditation documents, such as SPIQ, Company Profile, etc.

Sales Account Manager– Power Generation
Description

The main objective of the position is to develop new accounts, increase market share and sales in the Power Generation Business Unit; Increase account base by servicing existing customers and finding new proponents; maintain accounts by maximizing sales, profitability and customer satisfaction for all assigned Accounts; and provide a variety of customer service duties related to the sale of ABB portfolio in the Power Generation.

Responsibility

·         Sales and marketing activities

·         Strong collaboration between local PS Division and Regional Engineering Center of Power Generation business unit in Singapore

·         Develop and maintaining key account relationships

·         Developing and growing current and future opportunity accounts

·         Active participating in special show events such as Power Gen Asia, EXPO etc

·         Develop monthly strategy for sales calls and prepare monthly travel calendar based on that strategy according to the Business Plan established by the Company

 

The requirements

 

·         Licensed electrical engineering graduate

·         At least 5 years relevant experience in Power Generation, Substation and/or related industry

·         Knowledgeable in power plant automation, control systems and electrical balance of plant

·         Proven network with power generation

Additional highlights include flexible alternating current transmission systems (FACTS), high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems and network management systems. In power generation, Power Systems offers instrumentation, control and electrical balance of plant.

Qualifications:

·         Degree holder in Electrical Engineering
